#10 Tom Bannister made me feel guilty that I talk too much about the Moore's
and not enough about the Bannister Family--which isn't true by the way.
This reason is just for laughs. I love you Tom B!
#9 I seem to get busier and busier ever holiday season.
There never seems to be enough time to do it all!
#8 My printer sucks, and I didn't think it would make it through my lengthy letter!
I still miss my old faithful Lexmark printer!
#7 Printer ink isn't cheap!
#6 Stamps cost A LOT, too (This reason isn't really valid since I still mailed Christmas cards)!
#5 Slugger has kept me pretty busy, and I didn't keep as good of notes as I have in the past!
I was afraid I would forget something or someone.
#4 I send cards and letters to over 300 people!
What other crazy person does that?
#3 It takes forever to print all those letters, and like
I said my new printer wouldn't have made it! What was I to do?
#2 I got such a kick out of making and then printing 300 pictures of Slugger and me together.
I love getting those kind of cards, and this year I sent one, too! Woo hoo!
#1 The most important reason is that I feel so blessed and thankful for the wonderful family and friends that share my day to day life with me. Every year I seem to have more and more to write about…..more friends with happy news, some with sad news, births of beautiful babies, graduations of students, moves, and various life changes. I have begun to worry over the past couple of years that I might be missing someone special or some important event. So in pondering what to do this holiday season, and even discussing it in the school lunch room, I realized that it's ok if I downsize a bit. I only hope that my family and friends enjoy this version of my annual Christmas letter.
